High water and why this house is four and half feet higher June 09

Good evening! I hope everyone is having a wonderful Father's Day and a great weekend!

We just got home from dinner at some dear friends' place, and I had to park the jet down the block and wade home through the high tide.

Here is a little video of the house and the street-reminds me of why we spent way too much time, aggravation, and money lifting this place 4 1/2 feet. In case you need a little history-some info and pix about the house.
