And the portrait ceiling! I had something to do on Walnut St today, so of course I walked by the Anthropologie store aka Van Rensslear mansion and took a couple shots. the portrait ceiling from the outside! I love the b and w but you really need the color to see the portraits. i scoured the internet for info on it/them, but found nothing. Another one of life's mysteries I suppose. maybe it's an old Dutch custom...
